Our first weekend!

Wow...the first weekend with Shaylee has been ... well action packed! Friday night was pretty low key...Zach and Heidi came over and brought Carter and Gunner, their newphews, to see her. The boys brought a toy for Shay and one for Jasmine which they loved! Saturday Nick and Derrick went to Provo, so I got to stay home with the babies! Shaylee slept most of the day, of course! But I can't complain..she lets mommy sleep about 5 hours before waking me up for the potty...then another 2-3...then we lounge on the couch until daddy gets up...I love weekends!!!! Shay has a love for the corner in our kitchen, under the cabinets...I don't get it but she curls up there and sleeps in the corner for hours...in fact she's there right now! :)

Today we had our first ER visit with the baby...she LOVES to chase your hems of your jeans...well she and Nick were running this morning and she tripped Nick...of course he stepped on her foot and she screamed for a while and wouldn't walk on it. Nick felt HORRIBLE...so we rushed to the ER. $238 later, she's on pain meds and we're told to keep her relaxed...no break! No compression of her growth plate...phew! Problem is...does anyone know how to keep a 7 week old puppy relaxed?!?!?! Yeah...me either...
