Valentine's Day!

Today is Valentine's day...and we woke up to WHITE! Shay was thrilled, did her usual circles in the backyard with much more excitement! I made orange rolls for breakfast, which Nick loved! Then we had a very lazy day...we didn't do anything! :) I made dinner, Del Monico steaks and twice baked potatoes and carrots..oh and homemade rolls!!! :) Nick was amazed...and didn't even used his normal A1 on his steak! He got it out, then tasted it and said it was the best steak ever!! I had to agree...they were amazing! I'm thinking of definitely getting more! I was really excited, I only paid $11 for 2 steaks...and they were HUGE! Jasmine has treats for a while...Shay gets ice cubes...which she loves and don't give her gas...which we love! Then for dessert I saw the cutest recipe for brownies on the news. Bake the brownies, then use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes of hearts. Then add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel. They looked amazing, and tasted even better! Nick then said that he thought the dinner was better than anything we could have gotten at any restaurant! I was so proud of myself!!! I even had really cute table decorations! :) All in all, it was a pretty good day! Nick gave me a diamond and sapphire pendant shaped in a heart, and I gave him some blu ray movies for the new TV! The dogs didn't get any special toys, but did enjoy a yummy breakfast for them! Here are some pictures of my decorations and dessert! And the girls, of course....
