Well, yesterday was one of the LONGEST Saturdays in the history of Saturdays. First of all, happy birthday to my mommy yesterday!!! Our day started out great, we went to breakfast with mom (me and Jonathan) at Ihop. Friday night I took mom to dinner and to see Mamma Mia, which we really enjoyed at face value, don't go into it expecting the Broadway show, fortunately for us, not so much for Meryl Streep, we saw an AMAZING Donna on Broadway...and no one lives up to it so far! But anyways, we went to that Friday night and had a great time! So back to Saturday...we did breakfast and then Jonathan and mom came over to take the starter and battery out of the Mercury. While they were doing that Jasmine wanted to go out and see Grandma and Uncle Jonathan. While out there we found a mulberry tree out over the parking lot. I didn't think anything of it, but Jasmine was eating the mulberries from the ground, I stopped her after a couple, but she did get a few. The day went on normally until about 1:30 or so. Jasmine had a very odd seizure...freaked me out beyond anything. Nick was in the bedroom, I'm screaming and can't explain what she's doing, so he runs in...and it stopped. Ok...so I take her outside, she potties and we come back in and she was acting normal...odd?
So I got out a can of food and gave her 1/2 a can, she ate it all and drank, so I called the vet and explained what she was doing...they told me to take her outside and watch her walking, so I did with them on the phone. Jasmine chased her ball and played, and then as we were walking inside, she started walking sideways and having another one...needless to say the vet said come right in. So Nick and I took our baby to the vet, with no idea why she's having seizures. Of course, she only had those 2, and we spent 2.5 hours at the vet getting blood work, to find out that all of her organs are functioning normally, she had a slight temp, but when it's 90+ outside, that's to be expected, so they said to keep an eye on her....$131 later! That'd be great, but Nick and I had concert tickets to see Flogging Molly last night. So we asked Jonathan to come over and watch her. He did no questions asked, isn't he a great uncle?? So I bought dinner, he requested Panda Express, and then Nick and I went off to the concert with Nick's brother Derrick. The opening band was ... well awful. So we went out and sat on the grass at Saltair. Saltair is right on the beach of the Great Salt Lake...and we sat out there at sunset....and I'm telling you if that dang lake didn't smell so AWFUL it'd be romantic! Finally Flogging Molly came on, and I have to admit, the lead singer wasn't what I expected at all. But listening to him talk, when you remove the F word every other word ha ha, was great. I LOVE Irish accents!!! The band was great, hilarious and amazing! But I've never in my life been in such a lively crowd. I got stepped on, elbowed, everything under the sun. It was fun!! When we got home, of course Jasmine was fine, and slept through the night completely fine. Nick thinks she ate fermented berries from the ground and was drunk...If so, she better lay off the berries!!!

Today has started out a ton better already!! I weighed myself and I'm down 5.3 lbs this week! And Mom, Ted and Jonathan are coming over for a BBQ and swimming to celebrate mom's birthday! I am SO excited! So now I'm off to clean the bathroom, then meeting Tambra and her friend at 11 for lunch. It should be a good day!
Hope everyone had a less eventful day than mine yesterday!!
