Updates!!!

Quite a lot has happened since our last post...as usual!

We hosted our very first Kentucky Derby party this year! It was a HUGE success!! We ended up with a full house and it was great! We did a drawing for the winner of the Derby and Jenny picked Mine That Bird, and mom had Musket Man and Pioneer of the Nile, so they split the pot! It was so much fun! Shaylee even got her first taste of people food...by stealing the sandwich right out of poor Talyn's hands! He just sat on the stairs with a sad look on his face until we brought him another one...and since Shay has decided that stealing food is her newest favorite past time...this included 3 chicken thighs from the counter...cleaning our plates off when we put them on the counter after dinner last night...nothing is safe with this horse running around! Not only is she growing like a weed, but her tongue is so long she can pick things up without much reach at all!

Unfortunately, Spring Air closed it's doors on Monday May 4th...so now I'm looking for a job again. :( Luckily there are a LOT more jobs out there this time around, so I've applied for a TON! On top of that, my old boss at Spring Air called me today and informed me that they're going to be re-opening the plant again...so I'll at least get to work and have income while i'm looking for another job! :) I have some prospects, including the University of Utah! I'm praying for that one!
