Upgrades!

We've had some recent additions to the house...I added a garden in the backyard and we finally got some furniture in the basement! Memorial day had some great sales and we got these couches for basically a steal! The chair and entertainment center were already in the basement, so all we had to do was add in more seating and we've got a great family room! I'm so excited!! :) Plus my garden is coming along, so far everything I've planted seems to be doing well, well except for one tomato and one cucumber plant. But I guess a couple of casualties are to be expected, right???

Other news...I have accepted a position at SPS again, which I am excited about, but it doesn't start until June 22nd. Looks like I get more time to get things done at the house, right?!? :) It's a good thing to have a job. This year hasn't started out the greatest..being laid off twice sucks...but it will all be better! I just wish I'd been able to get to Kentucky for my cousin's graduation. I went last year, and had every intention of going this year, but being unemployed has really put a damper on our travel plans. :( Hopefully with SPS we'll get back on track, and be able to make a trip next Feb/March...let's pray! If I can lose my weight we'll go on a cruise...so that's been my goal! :)
