This weekend!

Wow, it's been a fun, busy weekend! Friday night Jonathan came over for a while after work, we made dinner and hung out, then took him home. Then Saturday Nick and I got up and lathered on the sunblock and went down to the Utah State Fairpark for the Vans Warped Tour 2008. It was amazing! Luckily we got there on time because Anberlin performed at 11:30, first band on the stage! They were amazing, as usual! We spent the entire day there! We saw many bands, but the ones that I enjoyed were Anberlin, of course, the Higher and Katy Perry. She was HILARIOUS. I had never heard any of her other songs except I Kissed a Girl, but I was pleasantly surprised! We were going to go buy her cd afterwards, but the line forming at her merchandise tent was insane! Luckily I waited, Nick bought it for me today at Best Buy for $8! Of course the reason he was out at Best Buy was for his new PS3...yes, my husband bought one! So we now have a Nintendo 64, 2 PS2s, a Wii and the new PS3. Since he bought that he and his brother have been glued to the tv, ha ha. Except for the hour or so I got them into the pool. Crazy kids!

That's about all we had this weekend, but we did spend 8 hours or so outside in 95+ weather! And I was smart and wore sunscreen...Nick put it on the back of his neck and his legs, but thought his hat would shield his face...let's just say he's pretty red faced and a red neck, ha ha ha! He should have listened to his wife....
